Russell’s Next Is Political Satire: Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel will star in Nailed, a political satire about a young woman afflicted by wild sexual urges after an accident who goes to Washington to lobby an immoral congressman (Gyllenhaal) for the rights of the “bizarrely injured.†While pic, directed by David O. Russell from a script he co-wrote with Kristin Gore (daughter of VP Al), will definitely prove a tough marketing pitch, we feel like we’re doing our part by putting “Gyllenhaal,†“Biel,†and “wild sexual urges†all in the same sentence. Stallone Has A Death Wish: With his Rocky and Rambo sequels in the bag, Sylvester Stallone will now strip-mine the past of another action icon as he signs with MGM to direct and star in a remake of the 1974 Charles Bronson revenge thriller Death Wish. [Variety]

Rodriguez May Clash With Warner: A source tells Latino Review that Warner Bros. is courting Robert Rodriquez to direct a remake of Clash of the Titans.
