We Were Wrong About Pretty Much Every Golden Globe

This year’s Globes were full of surprises, which means that our Globes predictions were as wrong as wrong could be. The awards were so spread out — only No Country for Old Men won more than one major prize, and that was for Supporting Actor and Screenplay — that there are few big winners coming out of last night’s show. Edit: Oh right, as a commenter points out, obviously Sweeney Todd did too. Our wrongness continues unabated! The exception might be Atonement, whose star had dimmed substantially in recent weeks, but whose Best Picture win at the Globes puts it back in the mix. Too bad no one knows it won.
