Making its world premiere tomorrow night at the Toronto Film Festival (9 p.m. at the Elgin Theatre) is Under the Great White Northern Lights, the new concert film from Earth’s hardest-rocking, non-related electric-blues duo the White Stripes. Directed by Emmett Malloy and shot with a pair of sixteen-millimeter cameras, Lights follows Jack and Meg on their first-ever Canadian tour, in support of 2007’s Icky Thump, dropping anchor in every territory and province and concluding with the band’s tenth-anniversary show in Nova Scotia. We’re lucky today to have an exclusive clip from the film — click to watch the Stripes perform “Icky Thumpâ€!
