The pilot pickup announcements keep on coming. ABC has picked up No Ordinary Family, which will star The Shield’s Michael Chiklis and Dexter’s Julie Benz as members of a family that develops super powers. And in addition to the four ordered series Fox announced this morning, the network has also picked up Mitch Hurwitz and Will Arnett’s Wilde Kingdom, in which Arnett (who also co-wrote the pilot) will play a rich “Beverly Hills jackass†who falls for a “charitable tree-hugging woman,†played by Keri Russell. Good news for fans of Arrested Development, Felicity and Community’s Jeff/Britta dynamic.
