On a night that featured a comeback performance from Kanye West, an Eminem-B.O.B. duet, and a rollicking Drake set, an unlikely performer managed to steal the buzz away from all of them at tonight’s BET Awards. After a four-minute dance tribute to the King of Pop to “The Way You Make Me Feel†and “Billie Jean,†Chris Brown broke down in dramatic fashion during his rendition of “The Man in the Mirror.†After starting and stopping his singing and falling to his knees, Brown eventually gave up and walked offstage, where Jermaine Jackson (who had introduced him) was there to console him.
