Seth MacFarlane’s dominance of Sunday nights will continue for awhile longer: Fox is confirming the news that it’s renewed Family Guy spinoff The Cleveland Show for a third season. (Actress Reagan Gomez, who supplies the voice of Roberta on the series actually spilled the beans a few days ago on Twitter, but since Gomez isn’t Conan O’Brien, only a few fan sites noticed). While Cleveland just finished airing its first year of episodes, because of the long lead times required to produce TV toons, the second season of the show was actually ordered in May 2009, before it even premiered. Today’s announcement means Cleveland (like the recently extended Glee) will stay on the air through spring 2012.
