Were you worried that Disney’s upcoming Jason Segel–starring Muppets movie would be anything less than perfect? You can officially stop: The Hollywood Reporter says the film’s makers paid a visit yesterday to Emeryville, California, for a table read with the infallible geniuses at Pixar. It’s part of a new initiative by Disney bosses Rich Ross and Sean Bailey that involves just deferring to Pixar on everything — the world’s best studio recently also gave pre-reshoot feedback on Disney’s Tron: Legacy, which will consequently be flawless (those in attendance at the Tron workshop called the sessions “nerve-wracking†but “very honestâ€). We heartily approve of this development.
