Natalie Portman will not rest until she has made an edgy version of every classic story you grew up reading! Riding high off her Black Swan buzz, Portman is reportedly eyeing the Jean-Pierre Jeunet film Brothers Grimm: Snow White, and that’s in addition to David O. Russell’s adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which she’ll produce and star in. Meanwhile, the Playlist claims that another revamped classic has fallen apart: the Emile Hirsch–starring Hamlet, which was supposed to be directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
