You may have heard that before casting Michael J. Fox, Robert Zemeckis had cast Eric Stoltz in the role of Marty McFly. But I’ll bet you haven’t seen any of the footage shot during the five weeks in which Stoltz played the character in the first Back to the Future. The footage is finally seeing the light of day as an extra feature in the Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy Blu-Ray, coming out on Oct. 26. Here’s a clip of it. It’s…weird.
