James Cameron is already on the hook to make two new 3-D movies about lithe people who fly through the air and speak another language, so what’s one more? Deadline reports that Cameron and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe director Andrew Adamson are already deep into production on a feature film that will showcase some of the best Cirque Du Soleil performances currently on view in Las Vegas; Cameron will produce, while Adamson is shooting narrative segments in New Zealand that will tie the performances together. (When it comes to 3-D concert films, apparently Cameron gives the edge to death-defying acrobats over Dirty Dancing–defiling dingbats.) [Deadline]
