Fox held a footage presentation today for the upcoming animated comedy Rio, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway as blue macaws who fall in love in colorful Rio De Janeiro during Carnival (after watching a scene set at a Rio beach, appreciative co-star George Lopez noted, “We got the butts right and everythingâ€), but the biggest news was saved for last: In order to promote the movie, the studio has teamed with Rovio to release a brand-new edition of cell-phone phenomenon Angry Birds, starring the characters from Rio. The game will be released in March, ahead of the film’s bow on April 15.
