
Now that her big-budget action picture Triple Frontier is scheduled to shoot in the fall, it’s looking more and more like Kathryn Bigelow may squeeze another project in beforehand, and it’s an indie thriller with a very intriguing hook. We knew that Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal were prepping another $10 million production on the scale of her Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker, but what we didn’t know was that it would, according to Variety, “concern the hunt for Osama bin Laden.” So, Zodiac in the Middle East? (UPDATE: Boal’s rep Tony Angellotti got in touch with Vulture to say that Variety is inaccurate about both the project’s sales rights and plotline, which is not about bin Laden. What is it about?
