In February, Miley Cyrus’s fifth tattoo — a dreamcatcher, with four feathers, representing each one of her four siblings — was spotted, on the side of her torso. As a friend told People at the time, “All of Miley’s tattoos have a deep meaning to her.†But what about the deep meaning to her career? Cyrus is still very much in the midst of an ungainly career transformation; did she not stop to think as to how a prominent new tattoo could bolster the effort? Sadly, the dreamcatcher was an opportunity lost, and that’s the kind of thing Vulture hates to see.
