Grammys 2024: All the Looks From the Red Carpet

While the 2024 Grammys is a celebration of the best music of the year, the evening also lets us in on the looks our favorite musicians decide to wear. SZA was the most-nominated artist this year and took home the award for Best R&B Song. Taylor Swift won Album of the Year for Midnights, making her the most-awarded artist in that category. Oh, and she announced a brand-new album. And even though the night wasn’t about the movies, we saw some Barbie pink since Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” took home Song of the Year. Below, everything else you need to know about the 2024 Grammys.

Who Walked the Red Carpet?

Only just the biggest names in the music industry: Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, boygenius, Doja Cat, Summer Walker, Victoria Monét, Joni Mitchell, and more all stepped out on the red carpet. And yes, this year really is about the girls!

Dua Lipa Wore a Stunning Silver Dress.

The artist wore Courrèges and Tiffany & Co. and unanimously landed on the Cut’s best-dressed list. The look was fun and unexpected, exactly what we wanted out of Grammy fashion. (You can leave the boring black dress for the Oscars — looking at you, Alix Earle.)

Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey Were Yin and Yang.

The duo and collaborators walked the red carpet together, Swift wearing a white Schiaparelli look and Del Rey in all black and some new bangs.

What Was Up With Miley Cyrus’s Hair?

We aren’t sure to be honest, but she did state that people keep asking her for her conditioner, and given the amount of product needed to create the updo, she is going to need a good one. The star was wearing Maison Margiela and Tabis (hold onto them, Miley!). She changed four times and looked fabulous each time.

Beyoncé Made an Appearance.

There were rumors that the queen would perform at the Grammys to honor the late Tina Turner, but a representative for the artist said that she wouldn’t be attending. And while she didn’t walk the red carpet or take the stage, she was in attendance (alongside Blue Ivy) to support Jay-Z (who received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award) in a sleek white cowboy hat and Louis Vuitton Pharrell look. Quite the fashion moment.

Who Performed at the Awards?

My personal reason for loving the Grammy Awards is that it’s like dinner and a show. This year was no different, with a stacked slate of performers that included Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, and for the first time ever, Joni Mitchell. Plus, an amazing in memoriam that included Annie Lennox, Jon Batiste, Stevie Wonder, and Fantasia Barrino.
