The Smurfs, in theaters this Friday, finds the little blue men transported to New York City, the go-to fish-out-of-water locale for kiddie reboots and sequels. And as such, it means we’ll get to see all the go-to fish-out-of-water Big Apple scenes, like having our little blue friends gawk at tall, shiny buildings and have near-death experiences with taxi cabs (not to mention, rub elbows with some NYC celebs). Come on, it’s what tourists do, right? So put on a fanny pack and enjoy everyone from Crocodile Dundee to Enchanted’s Giselle acclimate to Big Apple life as they get honked and screamed at by “real†New Yorkers.
