The Emmy nominations have been announced, and you can finally rest easy: Matt LeBlanc got the nom for Outstanding Lead Actor. Oh, also Louis C.K., if you were interested. Emmy presenter Melissa McCarthy was also nominated for her sitcom Mike & Molly, which resulted in a lot of flustered, charming laughter during the telecast. We’d also like to give a special Emmy shout-out to Spitsider’s very own contributor Sarah Schneider, for her nomination as part of SNL’s writing staff in the category of Outstanding Writing For A Variety, Music Or Comedy Series.
