Steven Soderbergh’s stripper epic Magic Mike really dominated last week with its better-better-best casting announcements, but this week, things were a little quieter on that front. Still, let’s check in for an update, shall we? One sad thing: Cuban soap opera actor William Levy has decided to turn down the movie in the hopes of finding other projects with which to make his Hollywood debut, reports People en Español. However, the film just added an Iglesias to offset the loss — and no, it isn’t Enrique, or his hot brother. It’s full-figured comedian Gabriel Iglesias, who will be playing the strip club’s D.J. Well, he’s not quite Matthew Bomer, but they can’t all be, can they? [THR]
