Back in June, Adele canceled the second half of her North American tour after coming down with a bad case of laryngitis. The performances were assigned new dates, and the rescheduled tour was set to begin in Atlantic City on Friday. However, as the singer explained in very sincere-sounding and lengthy blog post, her throat troubles have returned. So, once again, she’s not coming. This should come as no surprise to true Adele fans who — as is often noted — know that life is almost exclusively about heartbreak. Hopefully, this experience will just make them that much stronger, though we would also understand if it resulted in a total breakdown. [Official site]
