The Black List, everyone’s favorite annual list of the best unproduced screenplays, is expanding its reach and establishing a permanent web presence. Blcklst will be an invite-only paid site that constantly ranks the popularity of new screenplays, based on info culled from its industry subscribers who pay $20 per month for the privilege. On the free side of things, Blklst has also absorbed two screenwriting blogs: Screenwriting Tips, You Hack and Going to the Story. The current sites are still a little janky, but the semblant exclusivity of it all is so alluring: Wait lists! Identity verification! Finally, something for Hollywood insiders. [Media Decoder/NYT]
