Vulture learned several things at Peggy Siegal’s sneak screening of Rampart this week: Stanley Tucci is engaged to Emily Blunt’s sister Felicity; Woody Harrelson based his Hunger Games look on his brother; Guy Pearce, Ben Foster, and Kelly MacDonald are attached to Steve Buscemi’s Queer; and Judah Friedlander has more to say about Kim Kardashian’s divorce than you’d ever imagine. When we asked him what he thought of the reality star’s 72-day union, he said: “It’s like, yeah, you feel bad that their marriage didn’t work out. But you also know that it didn’t have a chance. I don’t think it was ever a real marriage. Whether either one of them actually thought it was or not, it never was. You can’t get married on TV and then expect it to work out. That’s not how it works, you know? Don’t throw a $5 million wedding [Editor’s note: It was a $10 million wedding] when you don’t know the person.†Then he (inadvertently) wooed us with his advice on laying the groundwork for lasting love: “Get to know [each other] for a while. Go to a movie. Did they even go to a movie? They probably went to some fancy island before they went to a movie. Go to a movie! Go to the mall. Run some errands together. Go to the zoo. Take a road trip. Get to know somebody first. Drive across country in a shitty car.†Play a game of Ping-Pong! For more comments from the carpet, click through our slideshow.
