Nicki Minaj opened the American Music Awards in a pair of boombox shorts last night, setting the scene for what would be an over-the-top, performance-loaded show. (Check out the absurd LMFAO finale here.) Minaj, Taylor Swift, and an absent Adele were the big winners of the night, but a host of wackily dressed stars were on hand to witness their victories.
