Showtime has put the full pilot for House of Lies online, though the network bleeped the curse words and blocked the signature cable nudity. Don Cheadle stars as a cutthroat management consultant and boss to Kristen “Veronica Mars†Bell and Ben “Jean-Ralphio†Schwartz, who’s balancing his complicated home life, which includes a non-gender-conforming son and a drug-addicted ex-wife. There’s a jumpy editing style that’d make NYPD Blue proud, a glitzy smugness right from the Entourage playbook, and freeze frames the show could really do without. Enjoy!
