On the left is Tug Coker, the former college basketball player who was just cast to play Larry Bird in Magic/Bird, the upcoming Broadway show about the complicated relationship between Bird and his friend/rival, Magic Johnson. On the right is Larry Legend himself, no. 33, in his prime. Not pictured: any obvious resemblance between the two. Let’s hope some bleach, a perm, and a golden ‘stache can go a long way.
