Zane Lowe spoke for everyone on Wednesday when he wrapped up the debut of Converse’s Gorillaz-James Murphy-Andre 3000 track by yelling “Can we get an Outkast album now? Can we get an OutKast album now?†(Important questions should always be asked twice.) Unfortunately, Andre 3000 is not particularly sensitive to the dreams of Zane Lowe or the general public; he told GQ that “as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album.†He didn’t totally shut the door on the possibility (“I really don’t know if or when that will happenâ€) but bottom line, they’re not in a studio right this very second, like you might wish. Still going strong with the razor commercials, though.
