Sofia Coppola’s love affair with former child actresses continues unabated. The Oscar-winning director (who’s previously worked with Kirsten Dunst, Scarlett Johansson, and Elle Fanning) has enlisted Harry Potter star Emma Watson to topline her next film, The Bling Ring. Watson will play one member of a small group of Hollywood thieves who gained notoriety for breaking into the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Megan Fox. And let’s hope Coppola somehow convinces those burgled stars to play themselves, or that she at least scripted a few scenes where Hilton, robbed five times by the Bling Ring, continually fails to realize that she should lock her door when leaving the house. Comic gold!
