News broke over the weekend that Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless was publicly protesting in her native New Zealand, having boarded an oil rig with six Greenpeace activists to oppose the rig’s upcoming Arctic drilling expedition. (Even better? Lawless and the activists [your new band name] had positioned themselves atop the rig’s 174-foot drilling tower.) Lawless’s four-day, live-tweeted stand came to an end on Monday when police scaled the tower and arrested the protestors.
