Is Sarah Palin still a ratings draw? You betcha! HBO says Saturday’s premiere of American Horror Story Game Change drew 2.1 million viewers, surpassing initial tune-in for other high-profile telepics from the network, including Emmy magnets Grey Gardens and Temple Grandin. In fact, the network says the political thriller (based on the best seller co-written by New York Magazine’s John Heilemann) had the biggest first night of an HBO movie since 2004’s Something the Lord Made (2.6 million). Add up all four weekend airings of the movie, and Game Change was seen by 3.6 million viewers. Our fingers are now tightly crossed for Game Change 2: Throwdown in Tampa.
