The last two words on Kick-Ass 2 were 1) it’s happening and, 2) if Chloë Moretz signs on, there’s a bigger part for her. Now Deadline’s reporting that despite none of the stars having sequel options, lead Aaron Johnson is “nearly done with his deal,†Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are close, and Nicolas Cage could have at least a cameo. There are “several†other major roles for new characters, too, so, yay.
