TNT has ordered ten episodes of David E. Kelley’s new hospital drama Monday Mornings, the network announced today. The show, which Kelley created with Sanjay Gupta, is set in a Portland, Oregon, hospital and stars Ving Rhames, Bill Irwin, Alfred Molina, Jamie Bamber, and Jennifer Finnigan, among others, and takes its name from the weekly morbidity and mortality conferences. Fans of doctor shows recognize those meetings as the harrowing interrogations that almost always end in our heroic doctor shouting, “I did everything I could!†and his/her mean mentor/rival shouting back, “That’s what scares me!â€
