Angela Bassett has joined the cast of Olympus Has Fallen, Antoine Fuqua’s thriller about a terrorist attack on the White House. Bassett will play the Secret Service director, The Hollywood Reporter writes, with Gerard Butler as an ex-agent and Aaron Eckhart playing the president. Don’t confuse Olympus with the Jaime Foxx–Channing Tatum–Roland Emmerich White House Down, which is a completely different White House–set drama. Plenty of White House thrills to go around!
