Californication has enlisted Marilyn Manson to appear in its upcoming sixth — ! — season, Showtime announced today. Manson will be playing himself, which is sort of a letdown. Wouldn’t it be more fun if he were playing a college dean or something? Showing some range? The new season finds Hank writing a rock opera, though we’ll never understand how he squeezes in work given how busy he must be carousing and womanizing.
