The Obama Campaign: Young Hollywood Edition
In 2008, candidate Barack Obama won the presidency with the help of two thirds of voters in their teens and twenties. Naturally, the Obama campaign wants to secure that demographic again, but with grassroots energy way, way down, they’ve had to retool their strategy, which now includes harnessing the power of network television. To that end, the president was at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles this morning for a power breakfast with 25 of Hollywood’s hottest young things — since immortalized through Instagram, naturally.
