Adapted from the Tolstoy classic, Wright has taken an unusual approach to the material, setting the entire story within one location, a theater. But don’t expect some sort of Brechtian minimalism here: The trailer nearly explodes with glitz and opulence, like a high-budget Knightley fashion ad come to life. Holy moly!
