Anna Kendrick will star in mumblecore lord Joe Swanberg’s Drinking Buddies, a Chicago-set comedy, Deadline reports. Unexpected! Swanberg’s low-fi style and tendency toward realism doesn’t generally scream “starlet,†but one cannot live on a cappella movies and Twilights alone.
