The Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese’s next entry in his magnificent filmography — which, throw up a quick hosanna, won’t be in 3-D! — has cast actor-director Jon Favreau (Elf, the first two Iron Mans) as a securities lawyer. At this point, you’d be safe assuming the story’s based on a preposterous number of noteworthy stars all being cast together, but it’s surprisingly about Leonardo DiCaprio playing real-life shady stock broker turned imprisoned stock broker Jordan Belfort.
