Charlize Theron is eyeing an untitled project being produced by Basil Iwanyk (Brooklyn’s Finest, The Town, The Expendables) about slain war correspondent Marie Colvin. The project is being developed from Vanity Fair’s feature about Colvin’s life and her murder at age 56 this February in Syria. Theron is aiming to produce and possibly act, “though she has not committed to star,†THR writes. Theron did the producer/actor dance for 2003’s Monster, which was phenomenal.
