In a case of eerily dead-on parent–child casting, Rita Wilson will play Allison Williams’s mother on the second season of Girls, according to Hollywood.com. We’ve seen a lot of Hannah’s parents — yep, that’s a nudity joke — but not much of everyone else’s, so, hurrah for backstories. One does wonder what sort of nurturing produced a guy like Adam.
