Remember the tickly feeling in your stomach at the notion of Parks and Recreation’s co-creator Mike Schur and Parks writer Dan Goor selling a single-camera cop comedy to Fox? Well, here’s another feeling-giver: Andy Samberg’s starring in that beast, playing the outer-borough precinct’s lead detective. Samberg, just beginning his SNL retirement, was “the first guy we thought of when we designed the partâ€; he’ll also produce, alongside Schur and Goor’s exec producer roles.
