Three-time Oscar nominee (Hugo, The Aviator, Gladiator) John Logan will be writing the next two installments of the James Bond franchise. Logan, who rewrote the much buzzed about Skyfall from the first draft of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (the writers of the last five Bond films), pitched the first two-movie arc in 007’s history for the next pair of films. This would correspond nicely with Daniel Craig’s scheduled next (and possibly last) two turns in the suit. Which raises the question: What writer is working on Idris Elba’s eventual first James Bond movie? Because it better be the best.
