Hugh Laurie is in talks to play a pirate on the upcoming NBC series Crossbones. According to Deadline, he’d play pirate overlord Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. Well, nothing says “sure thing†like “1715-set pirate drama on NBC.â€
