Despite the “Kanye West Presents” text and the DONDA trademark, the video was just a pitch from director Austin Christianson, who says the trailer was “independently made” and “intended only for the client to see.” So maybe Kanye is considering a Cruel Winter short film and trying out concepts? Or maybe Austin Christianson is just one more guy who dreams of working for DONDA? (We do not blame him.)
