After drawing a record-breaking 15,000 screaming girls (or more likely 9,000 screaming girls and 6,000 grouchy parents) this morning to their Today Show performance, One Direction is continuing on in the same direction as their pop forbearers (or forBiebers). And the next stop is a 3D concert/behind-the-scenes movie. The film is set to be released on August 30, 2013 and will be directed by Morgan Spurlock. Yep, that Morgan Spurlock. On the choice Simon Cowell said, “Morgan is the perfect person to give that access-all-areas, behind-the-scenes look into what it’s like to be One Direction today.” He really is perfect; especially, when you consider the boy band’s legendary pre-show ritual of eating only McDonald’s for thirty days.
