If you often find yourself saying, “The problem with The Walking Dead is the zombies are all ugly and never smooch each other,†then we have the movie for you. Adapted from a book by Isaac Marion and written/directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50), Warm Bodies tells the story of a dashing zombie of ambiguous age (Nicholas Hoult) who falls for a non-zombie (Teresa Palmer), and this love somewhat cures his zombieness. Shenanigans ensue, jokes are cracked, and there’s some zombie-on-zombie violence. Also, John Malkovich is there. And the best part is: no Carl!
