Doubleday has announced that the next book from Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code, is set to come out on May 14. Titled Inferno, the book will mark the return of Robert Langdon as he “is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces†— that masterpiece being Dante’s Inferno. Brown explained: “Although I studied Dante’s Inferno as a student, it wasn’t until recently, while researching in Florence, that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante’s work on the modern world.†Either way, time to start growing your hair out again, Tom Hanks.Â
