Like a multitalented phoenix rising from the ashes, Deadline reports that Maya Rudolph, in the wake of the Up All Night debacle, is looking to create a variety show. She has reportedly turned down five pilot offers, throwing herself completely into this idea. And at least Fox, ABC, and NBC are interested. Though this sounds like the best and a perfect fit considering Maya Rudolph’s skill skit, true variety shows haven’t really fared super well in America in a very long time. So let’s all agree that if this actually happens, we’ll all watch every episode night of and give it a 100 share in the 18–49 and 49–180 demos.Â
