People always assume being an Oscar presenter is a sweet gig. All you need to do to get free swag is read some names and wear a dress/tuxedo shirt that isn’t see-through. But we sleep on the envelope. That thing doesn’t open itself. At least that’s what we saw last night, as presenters like Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Gere kept on having trouble with it. Maybe it was a comment on the decline of the postal service. Or maybe the tape was just too sticky.
