Justin Timberlake’s celebrity-studded fifth stint hosting SNL earned the show its biggest viewership in fourteen months. (No exact number yet, but if jargon is your jam, the episode notched  “a 5.9 rating among metered-market households and a 15 share†and “a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49.â€) The record to beat was somehow Charles Barkley’s episode in January 2012. This season’s best-rated episode prior to Timberlake was Adam Levine, who reeled in 7.3 million viewers.
