Because of Martin Freeman’s and Benedict Cumberbatch’s especially busy film careers, production on the next season (or series) of Sherlock has been repeatedly delayed. However, fret not, Sherlockers, as Deadline reports the whole gang got together today for the first read-through. Since they have to basically shoot three full movies and it has to air in Britain first, don’t expect to legally watch episodes until 2014. By that point, Elementary’s Sherlock and Watson will have already solved 90 crimes, gotten married, and had a kid named Deduction. (They will be bad at naming.)
