Daft Punk’s newest single received an unsurprisingly warm reception after its it’s-finally-actually-no-seriously-guys-it’s-here release on Friday. “Get Lucky†broke Spotify records with the biggest streaming day ever for a single track in the U.S. and U.K. and, according to THR, it stirred up even more Twitter buzz than Friday’s Coachella headliner, Blur. On the old-school end: The track only reached number three on the U.S. chart, while it shot to the top spot in the U.K. and France. But is there a risk of Daft Punk fatigue prior to the May 21 release of the full album, Random Access Memories? Our guess: Definitely not.
