The “let’s make a Veronica Mars movie†Kickstarter hit its $2 million goal in less than half a day in March. But it still had a month left, and now the fundraising has officially wrapped at $5,702,153. There were 91,585 backers, passing Kickstarter’s previous most popular project, which had 87,143 participants. Veronica Mars: The Movie was also the fastest page to reach $1 million, the fastest to reach $2 million, and the third-highest funded thing in the history of Kickstarter.
